An Internship is the best way to get into the world of work for students and new graduates. We receive Master’s degree students and new graduates and we offer them the opportunity to get a six months internship in our Italian and foreign branches. At the end of this experience, we consider their work placement, in a dynamic and challenging environment, which cares about everyone career aspirations.

Degree thesis development

Students looking for a tutor to elaborate their degree thesis can send an email to recruiting@piaggio.com , stating the study field and the project they want to develp in the subject line of their email. For this reason, occasional company tours are provided, intended as a contact and an informative between the company representative and the final year student. The meetings frequency and modality will be arranged directly by the tutor based on availability, allowing possible curricular stages scheduled by the student’ study plan.

2.       CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The personal data you provide is processed by the Data Controller for the following purposes.

To allow the Data Controller to manage in all its phases, up to the possible signing of the employment contract, the personnel selection processes deemed necessary or opportune in relation to a specific professional figure.

Failure to give consent will make it impossible for the Data Controller to contact you and to proceed with the selection process

To allow the Data Controller to create and manage its own archive made up of data obtained during previous selections of personnel or spontaneously sent by the job candidates in order to manage future needs of competent professionals.

Failure to give consent will make it impossible for the Data Controller to contact you and to proceed with the selection process

 

The processing for the purposes described in this paragraph will not involve the processing of sensitive data. Should these be spontaneously conferred by you (for example, to declare to be part of protected categories), the processing by the Data Controller requires the granting of your specific consent.

In this case, you will have at any time the right to revoke the consent you may have given, which will make it impossible for the Data Controller to continue to use your sensitive personal data.

3.       RETENTION PERIOD

For the purposes described in paragraph 2 above, the Data Controller shall process your data for a period of time no longer than [2] years.

At the end of this period, all your information will be destroyed.

 

4.       METHODS USED TO PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be processed using paper, computer and telematic means, using methods suitable to guarantee security and confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of article 32 of the GDPR.

 

5.       COMMUNICATION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

To fulfil the purposes described in point 2 above, the Data Controller might have the need to communicate your personal data to third parties belonging to the following categories:

a)  Consultants providing advice in labour matters;

b)  Authorities and supervisory and control bodies, and in general public or private entities with functions relating to public law

c) Piaggio& C. S.p.A. and/or other companies of the Piaggio Group.

 

In some cases, the persons belonging to the foregoing categories operate in complete autonomy as separate Data Controllers; in others, they operate as Data Processors specifically appointed by the Data Controller in compliance with article 28 of the GDPR.

Furthermore, aiming at achieving the purposes described under previous paragraph 2, as part of the processing activities, your personal data will be processed and made available to the employees of the Company, specifically to the designated authorized personnel, to perform the various activities they were assigned to, and according to the instructions provided.

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties outside the European Union and will not be disseminated.

 

6.       YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

In relation to the processing described under paragraph 2 above, as a data subject you can, under the conditions specified by the GDPR, exercise the rights enshrined in articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR and, in particular, the following rights:

           

  • Right of access – article 15 of the GDPR: The right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning you is being processed and, if it is, to obtain access to your personal data and notification of the information regarding, inter alia, purposes of the processing, categories of personal data processed and data retention period, recipients to whom the data has been or will be communicated
  • Right to rectification – article 16 of the GDPR: The right to obtain, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and/or the completion of incomplete personal data
  • Right to erasure (right to be forgotten) – article 17 of the GDPR: The right to obtain, without undue delay, the erasure of personal data concerning you, under the conditions provided by the GDPR
  • Right to restriction on processing – article 18 of the GDPR: The right to obtain restriction of processing, under the conditions provided by the GDP
  • Right to data portability – article 20 of the GDPR: The right to receive, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, the personal data concerning you which has been provided to the Data Controller, and the right to transmit it to another Data Controller without hindrance, under the conditions provided by the GDPR
  • Right to object – article 21 of the GDPR: The right to object, at any time, to the processing of personal data concerning you, based on to the legitimacy of the legitimate interest, including profiling, unless there are legitimate grounds for the Data Controller to continue processing
